What is Birdie?

Birdy platform empowers individuals to easily match with people into quality, effective mentorships and increasing career progression, employee engagement & retention, and skills in all areas of life. Birdy uses smart matching to pair mentors and mentees and guide them through productive mentöring relationships. Mentees and mentors can schedule online meetings, track their goals and tasks and communicate through Birdys built in cloud-based platform. This makes it easy for mentors and mentees to stay connected on-the-go amidst busy schedules With Zoom Meetings, face-to-face mentoring sessions are possible no matter where the mentor and mentee are located. To use this feature, you will need to setup your Birdy profile & Zoom account and connect your account.

Get paid as a mentor to help people achieve their goals and ambitions

1.Create a mentor account

Sign up with general details such as your date of birth, email, and phone number. Then proceed to select the distance you’re willing to travel to mentor your mentees. Select the fields of mentoring you are confident in and are capable of teaching to a fulfilling capacity. Create your profile by adding a bio, your experience relative to mentoring and a brief explanation to why your the best candidate for a mentee. You can also create schedules and price ranges for the mentoring you’re offering.

2.Match with mentees

Birdie smart matches you with mentees based off of the distance you’re willing to travel, the category of mentoring and the preferred price range mentees are happy with paying. Mentees are then suggested on a page for you to “connect” With or “pass” on.

3.Get paid as a mentor

Once you’ve connected with mentees, you can negotiate session times and when they will be held as well as the price for the session. The session can be held in person or on zoom. Once everything has been finalised, you can begin mentoring your mentee and get compensated for your service.

Become a mentee and achieve your goals and ambitions

1.Create a mentee account

Sign up with general details such as your date of birth, email, and phone number. Then proceed to select the distance you’re willing to travel to carry out sessions with mentors. Select the field your goal/goals are in and create and add a realistic goal/goals for mentors to support you in achieving them. Create your profile by adding a bio and an explanation to why achieving your goal/goals are realistic based off of the skills/traits that you have.

2.Match with mentors

Birdie smart matches you with mentors based off of the distance you’re willing to travel, the category of mentoring you’re pursuing and your preferred price range. Mentors are then suggested on a page for you to “connect” With or “pass” on.

3.Reach your potential

Once you’ve connected with mentors, you can discuss session times and when they will take place as well as the price for the session. The session can be held in person or on zoom. Once everything has been finalised, you can begin your mentee journey and start achieving simple or big goals. If your mentor is the right fit for you, you can arrange more sessions with them until your goal or ambition has been achieved.
